DETOX is a turn-key, completely self-sufficient 2002 Beneteau Océanis 411 Clipper, equipped with a Volvo Penta D2-55 engine. Only 11,97m on her papers (cheaper marina fees). NEVER CHARTERED. It’s a rare 3-cabin Performance version with a deep bulbed fin keel of 2,0m (6,2 feet) enabling her to point higher upwind than most of her sisters. The combination of her deep keel, new set of Quantum sails, additional furling stay sail and gennaker make her a fast cruiser.
Current owners (Captain Merchant Navy) have her since 2016 and have sailed the Med (2016-2021), Caribbean (2021-2023) and Atlantic Islands (2024). They have been living on her for 6 months/year for the past 8 years. All sails, bimini, etc. were dry stored for 6 months/year. They have maintained and upgraded her meticulously and continuously. (often labeled “maniacs!” by fellow cruisers ). Before crossing the North Atlantic Ocean in 2021, they made sure Detox was ready in every aspect.
