The Lynx 48 sailboat is an exceptional expedition yacht, expertly designed by Hutting Yachts, a leader in crafting custom aluminum vessels. Measuring 15.15 meters in length with a beam of 4.58 meters and a draft ranging from 1.41 to 3.15 meters, this yacht is built to handle the most challenging conditions with ease.

Developed in collaboration with top European and American naval architects, including a specialist in Arctic exploration, the Lynx 48 is purpose-built for high-latitude journeys. Its marine-grade aluminum construction ensures the strength and durability needed to withstand ice, severe weather, and uncharted waters.

The Lynx 48 is a true sailor’s vessel, delivering an exhilarating blend of speed and stability. Its powerful sail plan allows for swift navigation, even in moderate winds, while the thoughtfully designed deck layout and ergonomic winch placement make handling straightforward and efficient.

Prioritizing safety and self-sufficiency, the Lynx 48 is built for long-term adventures in remote areas. With ample tankage and a sturdy construction, it can support extended expeditions. The yacht is outfitted with top-tier systems and amenities, including a sauna and a high-capacity water system, providing comfort and convenience during prolonged journeys.

The sail rig features a carbon-fiber mast with rod rigging and high-performance sails from Axxon Composites and Sparcraft, ensuring peak performance in varied conditions. The Superwind 350 wind turbine supplies additional power, proving its reliability in extreme environments.

For anchoring, the Lynx 48 is equipped with Vulcan and Rocna anchors, delivering maximum holding power on any seabed. Its propulsion system, featuring Autoprop blades and Betamarine engines, ensures efficiency and reliability for long-distance travel.

The construction of the Lynx 48 sailboat is currently in progress, with every detail being meticulously crafted. While the exterior design and structural integrity are already well-defined, the interior of the vessel remains customizable to meet the future owner’s preferences. An initial layout, thoughtfully designed by the expert team at Hutting Yachts, is available for reference, showcasing optimal space utilization and functionality. However, the future owner has the freedom to personalize the interior to suit their specific needs and tastes, whether by adjusting cabin layouts, selecting materials, or incorporating custom features. With all project investments already calculated, various options are available to suit different budgets. This flexibility ensures a truly bespoke sailing experience, with the Lynx 48 exceeding expectations in both form and function.
