I’ve owned the boat for just over four years, and she has looked after my family brilliantly. We’ve enjoyed some fantastic cruising adventures around Cornwall, including trips to the Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands.
The Dragonfly 800 is an incredibly fast, fun, and easy boat to sail. She comfortably cruises between 7 and 14 knots, depending on wind and sea conditions, with a personal top speed of 18 knots. She is exceptionally stable, has a very light helm, and is a pleasure to sail single-handed or short-handed.
Thanks to the swing-wing design and very shallow draft, she can access anchorages that many yachts can’t reach, making it easy to tuck right up to the beach.
She is a fantastic all-round cruising trimaran that offers exhilarating performance while remaining forgiving and easy to handle.
